Celtic averages 33 traveling boys and girls teams per year, consisting of 500 players from this community and beyond.  Players range in age from 8 to 18; Hispanic community is represented by 85% on the boy's side.

Celtic plays its home matches at Oaks School in Ontario and trains at miscellaneous fields in Ontario.  Celtic is responsible for maintaining said fields and accommodating the student body on campus with manicured grounds during the soccer season.  Lights, uniforms and miscellaneous ... are major expenses.  Many children have financial hardships.  Celtic addresses said needs and club expenses with sponsorship and generosity of the local community.  OMSD is much appreciated by Celtic for its belief and trust in the club, a special thanks: Dr. Garnella, A/Supt. B.A.; Mr. Peterson, Architect: Ms. Escamilla, Grounds. Celtic is ever cognizant that it represents this community on every soccer pitch, hither and yon.

Celtic Cup is the largest soccer tournament in the world.  800+ teams consisting of 12,000+ players compete in Celtic Cup on the last 3 weekends of January for younger teams and the last 3 weekends of March for high school age teams.

(Ken Shinedling Celtic Cup Dir)

12,000+ players with 5 supporting family members, equals over 60,000+ people, times 2 days = 120,000+ visitors times 16 hours per person = 2,000,000 visiting hours.  Celtic Cup participants... million's of dollars to Ontario over the last 17 years. University coaches across USA attend the Celtic Cup scouting players i.e. Notre Dame,  Harvard,  Yale,  Stanford,  UCLA,  UC Berkeley North and South Carolina et al.  List of attendees are posted on our website.  40% of Celtic Cup participants reside outside California.  Scores posted on Celtic website by days end.
